| I have had the pleasure of serving the Coeur d'Alene people and
our reservation community for more than 12 years. It is an honor to have
the opportunity to be a part of so many people's lives as they work toward
improving their emotional, mental, spiritual and physical health. Prior to
being part of this community, I served as a therapist with the Spokane Sexual
Assault Center and with Lutheran Social Services in Coeur d'Alene. At that
time, I also had the good fortune to consult with some local athletes and teams
as they prepared for their seasons. My wife Laurie and I enjoy spending time
horseback riding in the mountains around our home, and especially at Farragut
State Park. When I'm not riding my trusty steed, I am canoeing in the
local waters (mostly at Priest Lake) and biking on the Centennial Trail or
the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. The shorter trips prepare me for my
favorite biking place - the San Juan Islands. When Laurie is not horseback
riding, she maintains a private counseling practice in Post Falls. Our
daughter is attending the University of Idaho and is majoring in, of all things,
counseling! | |
